Win 2 tickets to Beijing's first-ever Indie Coffee Festival

Brought to you by Soloist, the bosses of the Beijing bean

Café culture has officially arrived in Beijing. For years we've had a few sturdy favourites, but recent months have seen a deluge of top-notch coffee vendors open for business in the big smoke. Whether it's incoming brands from Shanghai or new hubs in CBD and Gulou, coffee enthusiasts are tripping over each other to serve you up a third-wave flat white.

Now one of our longtime favourites, Soloist, is taking coffee culture one step further by hosting Beijing's first-ever Indie Coffee Festival. Over 30 specialty coffee roasters and other lifestyle influencers will be convening at Beijing Langyuan Vintage, an exhibition space near Dawanglu, on April 6 and 7, and you're invited.

Events include panel discussions, latte art demonstrations, coffee cup painting and more with some big local and international names taking part. Representing Beijing will be Soloist, of course, but also Voyage, Dotcom Coffee, Barista and more. International names include Melbourne's St Ali, Hong Kong's Urban Coffee Roaster and Liverpool's Root.

To win tickets for you and a plus one, simply share this blog on your WeChat moments with the text 'Time Out Beijing, I want to drink all the coffee!', then send a screenshot of your moments to our WeChat account (TimeOutBeijingEN). Entries must be in by 3pm on Thursday 5 April, and the winner will be notified by Thursday evening.

For those of you who miss out on purchasing tickets, they're on sale for a bargainous 60RMB each (presale) through the Soloist WeChat account (soloistcoffee) or 100RMB at the door. See you there!
